Cariatide

 

Figura femminile scolpita usata in luogo di colonna o pilastro. Ne sono presenti due nel cortile o chiostro della scuola a Ovest e sono in travertino come tutto il muro.

 

This is a sculpture representing a woman, used as a column or pillar. It is located in the cloister of the school, on the west side. It is made of travertine, just like the wall. We can see the caryatid twice on the wall.
